Maximum efficiency with our
unique and famous
Build & Play method
Every organisation is unique and has its own challenges, methods and processes. We at GeONE have known this for more than 20 years. From that experience we have developed a unique method, the Build & Play method. A method that results in maximum efficiency of your software solution.
The implementation of software
and where it often goes wrong
Choosing a software product often has a clear purpose for organisations. Mostly it’s about increasing efficiency, reducing errors and costs of failure, more insight, being able to work mobile and so on. With this objective, the management of an organization goes to the market in search of a software product and the most suitable supplier for it.
When a good propositions has been found that fits in well with the demand, the project is started. The organisation’s project team is increasingly focusing on the details and elaboration of the objectives. Together with the supplier, they look for the correct interpretation, design and implementation of the software product. Together, they eventually arrive at a functional design, exactly as the management wants it to be.
Based on its interpretation of the functional design, the supplier translates it into a software design and delivers the system to the client with due pride.
But then…
…the solution doesn’t seem to be entirely in line with the wishes…
…users don’t understand the solution, don’t like it or don’t see the added value in it.
…even though the project team had come up with such a good functional design.
As a result: a rigorous adaptation to the system, a significantly exceeded budget, dissatisfied users, no user adoption and above all no solution for the initial problem!
BUILD & PLAY METHOD
minimize risk, increase return on investment
At GeOne, we use our own unique Build & Play method, which allows clients to keep a grip on the project and the costs, involves users closely and allows us to adopt users for 100%.
Build
For a successful software implementation, we cut the system layout into small and clear pieces. This means that we work with prototypes. A prototype forms the layout of the software around a specific and demarcated area (Build). This area then consists of a process, working method or procedure of our client.
Play
The prototype, the working method and the use of the software will be tested directly by the users (Play). We then collect important feedback, which is reflected in the design, configuration and approach. This creates an iterative process.
The result
Through short iterations, we ultimately improve and refine the functional design and layout of the software. Until it is fully tailored to the user organization, the working method and meets the set goals.
Think of it as building a new house. We do this space for space with great attention to detail and continuous adjustment by the client, so that eventually all spaces and thus the whole house is realized as desired.
